Everything between the accepted manuscript and the indexed record.
Copy editing, typesetting, JATS XML, metadata, indexing support and the quarterly maintenance that keeps a journal in the databases it worked to get into.
Ten services, one workflow
We cover the entire path of a scholarly publication — from the first proofread to indexing in databases. Take everything, or only what you need.
Core technical editing
Copy editing, proofreading and formatting. A manuscript ready for typesetting.
Advanced technical preparation
Typesetting, LaTeX templates, JATS XML and PDF/A archival format.
Figures, tables and visuals
Scientific illustrations and graphics as vector SVG, in 300 DPI and prepared for CMYK.
Metadata and visibility
ISSN, structured metadata, citation exports in BibTeX and RIS, SEO and keywords.
Indexing and compliance
Preparation and submission for Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ and ERIH PLUS.
Editorial and process services
Peer review setup, plagiarism checking and translation.
Digital infrastructure
OJS setup and configuration, digital archiving and web design.
Financial and administrative service
APC models, waiver policies, grant support and administration.
Consulting and strategy services
Publishing strategy, editorial board and citation analysis.
Maintenance of the indexed record
Quarterly upkeep of metadata, DOAJ records and landing pages, with a re-evaluation watch for Scopus and Web of Science.
A clear flow, from intake to indexing
No guesswork. Every manuscript follows the same, predictable path. You see the status at every step.
Intake and assessment
You send the manuscript and a short brief. We assess the scope, format and what is needed for publication.
Editing and typesetting
Copy editing, typesetting, figures. We generate JATS XML and PDF/A. You review the proofs.
Metadata
We assemble the structured metadata for the article — ISSN, keywords, citation exports — and link the references.
Publication and indexing
Publication on OJS, archiving and submission to databases. We track status in the key indexes.
Indexing where research is searched
Indexing is the difference between a paper that gets cited and one that disappears. We prepare the applications and track status.
We do not sell indexing and we do not guarantee acceptance. The decision rests solely with the evaluation body of each database, on the basis of the quality of the content and the editorial policy. Our job is readiness assessment, closing the gaps, preparing the documentation, submitting the application and tracking its status.
How the process runs
Readiness assessment
We measure the journal against the published criteria of each target database and tell you where it stands today.
Gap analysis
A written list of everything that fails the criteria — metadata, editorial policy, peer review records, archiving, publication ethics.
Closing the gaps
We fix what is technical and specify what is editorial, so the journal actually meets the criteria before anything is submitted.
Submission
We assemble the documentation and submit the application on the journal’s behalf, in the form each database expects.
Tracking and correction
We follow the status, answer the evaluators’ queries and correct what they flag, through to a decision.
Maintenance of the indexed record
Indexing is not a one-off event. Databases re-evaluate the titles they carry and they delist the ones that drift out of criteria. Maintenance is the work that keeps a journal on the right side of that review.
Quarterly metadata audit
We read the record every quarter and close the gaps it exposes — ORCID iDs, licences, abstracts, references, funding data.
DOAJ record updates
The record is kept current: policies, licensing, APC data, editorial board, article metadata feed.
Scopus and WoS re-evaluation watch
We track the re-evaluation cycle and flag delisting risk early, while there is still time to correct the cause.
Landing page and link checks
Every article link is tested for correct resolution. A broken landing page is a broken citation.
Google Scholar optimization
Meta tags, full-text discoverability and crawlability, so articles are picked up and their citations counted.
Annual visibility and citation report
One document a year: where the journal is indexed, how it is cited, what changed and what to do next.
Quarterly cycle, annual contract
Billed annually as a separate service — see the maintenance row in the pricing table.
You pay for what you need
No flat fee that doesn't fit your scope. Take a single article, a full issue or continuous production, and add maintenance to any of them. We provide an exact quote after reviewing the manuscript.
